Professional Massage Training Program

The Professional Massage Therapy Program consists of 637 hours in the theory and practice of therapeutic massage and related modalities which can be completed in 7 months through the Day program or 13 months through the Evening program. You will learn the ins and outs of Human Anatomy & Physiology.

The Massage Therapist program provides students with skills to successfully implement the techniques into various settings such as spas, salons, medical environments, fitness environments, wellness centers and private practice.

Program Objectives: The program aims to prepare students for the National Certification Examination and eventual licensing as a Massage Therapist, with skills necessary to meet the needs of the community. Once you have passed the exam, you will be able to begin looking for employment as an entry-level licensed massage therapist.

Following graduation, students should be able to perform the Swedish massage, understand basic human anatomy and physiology, be familiar with allied modalities currently being practiced, have a working knowledge of common pathologies, know which disorders can be treated with massage and which cannot, and posses the confidence to document massage treatments for practice management and insurance.
