MASSAGE THERAPY PROGRAM
Requiring 750 hours of total instruction including classroom, clinical, and lab settings-- the mission of this program is to help students learn the material they need to become successful in the field of massage therapy and bodywork.
Students are assessed in all areas of professional growth, including valid areas of Human Sciences, Massage Techniques, Adjunct Body Work Modalities, Professional Standards and Clinical Practices. Each student will walk away with a sincere and practical care for all people and a commitment to serve others with dignity. Students will be taught how to balance the nurturing nature of massage therapy with the understanding of the need to produce income.
After students graduate from massage therapy, they can sit for the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Body Works.
Positions in private practice, chiropractic offices, wellness centers, health clinics, resorts, spas, physical therapy practices, pain management centers and massage therapy establishments will be accessible to graduates.
The daytime program consists of five hour days, Mon – Fri for 30 weeks and encompasses six-125 hour modules of study. The evening program consists of four and a half hour evenings, Mon – Thurs for 42 weeks and requires six - 125 hour modules.
