Diploma Program for Professional Massage Therapist will ready you for entry-level positions as a Professional Massage Therapist after 9 months of study in our day program, or 12 months in our evening program. Practical training in Therapeutic Massage will be used to educate the student in the scientific studies of Anatomy and Physiology. We offer our students a multifaceted learning experience in both a typical classroom setting and in a more hands-on clinical environment. Included in this program are business principles, client-practitioner relationship and infection control. First Aid and CPR training are also included in the program.

Students who graduate from this program will be trained to work closely with chiropractors and physical therapists as a Massage Therapist. They will be capable of working in a variety of settings such as; health spas, fitness centers, resorts, cruise ships, private practice and physician's offices.

Swedish massage, charka cleansing, sports massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, reflexology, prenatal and infant massage, reiki, stone therapy, aromatherapy, salt and sugar scrub, and Chinese medicine will be taught to students.

Students benefit from expertise of instructors in applying many different techniques. The students are tutored in all of their courses as needed, by our instructors. Students take part in and demonstrate massages at community health fairs. Included in the course work is:

• Human Anatomy & Physiology
• CPR

In addition to course work students will also get on-hands training with professionals who will show them how to work with confidence in places such as chiropractors' offices, spa settings, and clinic areas. This completes their learning and ensures that they will be ready for a career as a professional Massage therapist.
