Diploma Programs can be completed in 7 months in the day enrollment and 12 months in the evening enrollment.

The Therapeutic Training Program provides students with the knowledge to be successful practicing body workers. Our program exceeds licensing requirements that are set by most governments at the state and municipal levels.

The art and science of massage therapy are combined with the teaching of sound business practices in the Therapeutic Massage Training Program to give students the tools they need to succeed in the marketplace.

Students learn both the Eastern and Western theories and techniques of how to treat specific pain and dysfunction as well as a ?mind, body, spirt? approach to health and healing.

Basic massage theory and techniques are taught to students. Students are taught an Eastern paradigm of body therapies which includes Shiatsu and Acupressure. Students are also educated in contemporary modalities such as structural bodywork, trigger point therapy & rehabilitation massage, sports massage, and cranial sacral therapy.

Anatomy and Physiology are included in the curriculum at Florida College of Natural Health, enabling students to have solid technical and scientific understanding of the body in addition to the ability to communicate with other health care professionals. Florida College of Natural Health prepares students to become proficient bodyworkers as well as teaching them how to be successful in the marketplace.

Program Objectives: The objective of the program is to prepare student to pass the Florida State Board/ National Certification Exam for licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Upon receiving their license, the graduates search for employment as entry-level Massage Therapists.

An Associate of Science Degree with a concentration in Advanced Therapeutic Massage Training will take 24 months to complete.

This advanced multidisciplinary program prepares students to practice massage therapy in a variety of environments in the therapeutic massage industry. The complete Therapeutic Massage Training Program is included with this program. Besides the training program, the particular assessments makes the student more effective in areas like clinical analysis, intuition and application of advanced techniques in fields such as Hydrotherapy spa treatments, Myokinetic techniques, rehabilitative protocols and sports injury management.

Program Objectives: The goal is to prepare students to pass the Florida State/National Certification Exam for Licenses Massage Therapists when they complete their training. The program specifically focuses on more advanced massage theory and techniques for students and also teaches business skills.

Associate of Science in Natural Health: Therapeutic Massage and Skin Care

Program Objectives: Our program objectives are to prepare students by offering the required hours, courses and general knowledge needed to take the Florida State licensing exams in massage therapy and skin care. To prepare students to be equally skilled as an entry level Licensed Massage Therapist and an entry level Registered Facial Specialist. The graduate will have knowledge of both theory and technique of both fields and will be qualified for employment in the spa industry requiring the ability to practice in both areas.
