Therapeutic Massage (DTM) - Diploma

The act of massage therapy, the application of soft-tissue manipulation techniques to the body, can play an important role in the treatment of client health. Massage therapists utilize their skills in several areas such as overall health promotion, stress reduction, pain management, and injury recovery. Massage is not only healing art, but also a science. Clinical skills, manual dexterity, sensitivity, as well as both academic and technical knowledge are all mandatory to master this art. One must posses the desire to help others as well as the patience to develop the necessary skills to become a massage therapist.

On an average, a student taking a full load of classes will attend for 2.5 semesters. You need at least 35 semester credits to graduate.
