Massage Therapy:

The Massage Therapy program teaches students both theoretical and practical massage techniques, as well as hygiene, anatomy, ethics, pathology, physiology, and clinical practice. In this program you will learn massage techniques, usage of heat, cold, water, mechanical devices and topical preparations, principles of therapeutic massage, hydrotherapy and other allied therapeutic modalities. The central part of the curriculum is based on a combination of a lecture component and a clinical application component. Supervised experiences in a clinical environment, which requires competencies, logs, and evaluations completed by the student are the part of final externship portion of the curriculum. At the close of the program ,graduates who have regularly attended the class and had done their externship , studied thoroughly and practiced their skill, should have acquired the skills necessary to obtain entry level employment as massage therapist.
